Hi to everyone since I am new here. I found this forum while searching for solution to my Studer D731.
I have used the Studer for more than 10 years. It worked perfectly until recently when it suddenly stopped. No power on. Brought it to a service shop and they said the PCB was burned and couldn't be replaced. They also said they can't do anything with the Studer since the PCB can't be available.
Could anyone tell me if that is true or what could I do? where/how could I find a new or used PCB? I really hope to get the Studer back to work.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
Mike

Unfortunately, it is true: almost every single component and part in Studer is now obsolete and unobtainable as new. Still, there are sources of used players and parts. Try here:

However, I would ask for more information from the shop, because it doesn't happen very often that a source component burns the PCB badly, as they mostly operate at low voltages and currents. Anyway, understanding the cause and narrowing the location of fault might help you sort it out.
