I need to purchase about 150 Dale RM60D resistor
from Mouser Electronics. Given the total price around
US$17, paying US$40 as shipping is out of question.
Wandering if someone can purchase these resistor and post (simple
airmail) it to me by putting them in a small envelope or
small packet. It will be much cheaper and a great help to a
fellow hobbyist. I can pay by paypal.
Looking forward to some response very much.

Can you order from Mouser UK? Shipping may be cheaper. Duty looks to be around 20% CIF value, btw.
Duty is allright, it is about 30% when it reaches India. I just checked from UK the shipping is 45. Much more than US.

Shipping cost kills DIYers, from my experiences with Mouser, they always ship the order from their warehouse in Mansfield, TX. despite they have local rep.

150 resistors would weigh virtually nothing and would fit in a letter. Surely it doesn't cost $40 to send a letter to India ?
No, it doesn't, but Mouser don't make their money with people ordering 150 resistors, so they don't offer cheap international shipping via letter. The organisational overhead of maintaining another shipping option would be more costly than the expected profits.
Mauser has an exhaustive list of various different values RN60D resistor which I need and it is about 0.11US$ per piece. Newark Elements14 and Elements14 list
is limited and over that the price is 4 to 8 times more.

Within US the shipping is US$8. So, here is another option if someone
is willing to give his address, I can make the online purchase with that address and then he can ship it to me by ordinary airmail post.
