I have an old In Focus LCD 450LS panel book ( passive, not active matrix)), and lost the user guide. I am trying to use it and was not able to project anything from the laptop screen. As I recall, I am supposed to connect the LCD to the Laptop monitor plug. I did this. Then, I tried to pushed FN+F8 buttons to switch the screen display from the laptop monitor to the LCD panel book. Nothing happens.
This panel book also has a feature called Lite Show. What it does is that it allows you to store tiff images on a floppy disk and then show your slides with the overhead projector your. So, there is a button to switch from lite show and "not" Lite show. I was able to show the Lite Show, but can not get any images from the laptop to the panel book.
Any help will be much appreciated. I tried searched the Web for a user guide and was not successful.

The native resolution of the panel is 640x480. Set your laptop to that resolutioin and then see if it works.
Apparently, resolution was not the problem. There is a select button which I should have used to switch from Lite Show to Projection. I thought I did, but trying it again the Panel Book is working now.

Correction to My Previous Post
Upon further testing, I found the following:
1. The Panel Book Resolution does matter. The minimum resolution the Laptop will allow me to set is 800x600. Using this resolution for the Panel Book, it works, but going to higher resoultion will not work.
2. The laptop display resolution is not important, except that if not set at the same aspect ratio as the Panel Book display, there will be distortion.
3. After clicking on Display no. 2 (Panel Book), the box, "Extend My Windows Desktop onto this monitor", must be checked. This is where I went wrong.
