I have been weighing my options. Not really decided. I could possibly get the MJ15024 to go with the MJ15025 if I decide to go for the PA-300? How would you compare the PA-300, ETI-466 and the Quasi amps for subwoofer duties?

My tell is, that the quasi designs are made just for that purpose (powerful and reliable). But they are a bit excentric, so I beleve that there is quality too. 😀

Hi Kalmara, that's a good reason. Maybe the PA-300 and ETI-466 are too old and there are newer designs available. I also have the option of the Destroyer Precision I.

Just how "complementary" do you expect a 2N3773 and 2N6609 to be anyway? Or an MJ15024 and a 15205? Probably not any more or less so than a 2N3773 and MJ15025.

that's a different slant on using or not, complementary pairs.
