Hello everyone,
Thought I'd post this request on the off chance that one of you out there may have a power supply for a Proxima LCD panel. Yep, I've lost mine but I beleive they are pretty much standard for all models so if you do know of a spare one I'd be very grateful if you'd contact me.
Many thanks in advance, Rich

In case it's of any use to anyone, the power supply on Proxima panels is not standard, at least that for the old multimode style ones is different to that for the Ovation +846.
However, and very usefully, the power supply and VGA cable from the 3M 5450 (and therefore presumably closely related models) fits perfectly!

pinout for proxima ovation lcd panels
Here is the pinout for a proxima power supply.
THIS IS LOOKING AT THE POWER SUPPLY, NOT THE LCD PANEL SO DO NOT HOOK THE CONNECTIONS BACKWARDS!
This covers all the proxima ovation lcd projection panels.

popwer supply
a question... what is the size of the connector? is it regular DIN size or is it a mini ? i suppose it is a regular.
i can make it for you if you can't find an original one, seems easy to retrieve all the different powerlines from a pc ps.
if you can't find any and you don't want to make one yourself, send me a message. ( i have references for you from people on this forum!!! from cables i made for them)
i would say $22.50 including shipping!

Thanks for the helpful offer - however, I've followed the advice from another thread already and am going to fashion one as you've mentioned from an old AT power supply!
Thanks, Rich

Best thing you can do
because
1) you stay out of Radio Shack = life saver!
2) DIY
3) recycle pc ps = always good for the environment!
you deserve a medal ....... repeat after me "i deserve a medal" !!!
now if more people in the US would be like you
do you guys have any idea how many ps get dumped in landfills or dumpingyards in the US every day?
