Need a little diagnostic help

Hey all, I am asking my questions here because I can't find it anywhere else. I have an older (around 7 years old) 400 watt JBL 12" downfiring sub. The think kicks. For the past few days, around 4pm, I hear a loud Pop. There is no humm leading up to the pop. Just a loud pop. It is loud no matter how high or low the volume is. It only happens when the sub is on. There is no volume or sound loss after the pop, but it is a little discocerting to hear the pop. Right now I am hoping that it is just the people living above me dropping something on the floor directly above my sub. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the pop only affect the sub, the tv doesnt flicker, or the lights anything else?

Its getting to be A/C time, maybe your neighbor has too big of a unit that is disrupting the power, or causing a voltage spike.
