Need a Good Way to Block Light

Coming from my 80mm Fan holes.

Any suggestions?

This is a idea i had for mine

Use the aluminium grills used for houses that angle the light to a direction which dosent matter much

Then use a fan filter / thin socks or something to minimize the light

BE hard to totaly block it

I used 2 fan grills one on the inside and the other on the outside. Works well!

They're called Louvered Vents, they're usually used for the exhaust from kitchen appliances. I've used them as well on my side pannel:

Create a baffle that the air has to go around, so there is no straight path between the louvers. Essential: Paint everything inside the baffle box flat black. It helps more than you might think!

does it have to be a special paint that withstands high temperatures and wont melt, or will ordinary flat black paint work?

I think that you should make the box on the outside of the fan hole and then see how hot the various parts get before painting it . Most of the heat would come from being directly connected to the light box. If you make it out of metal and you can't touch a part for a second, then I'd think the high temp flat black you can get at an auto supply store would be best. It gives off some fumes the first few times if heats. but really can take heat.
