I am looking for a transistor marked J78(to-220)no idea what it is and a negative votage regulator KA7915,please help
It's a Renessas/Hitachi P-channel MOSFET, rated at 180V, 0.5A, 30W. There should be a wide variety of substitutes with similar or better specs.
Thanks
Thanks a Bunch.I was going krazy trying to figure out what it was.I am new to Electronics.

Standard negative regulator 15v.
Any 7915 of the correct current type will do.

Be aware that simply dropping in new parts (im assuming you're repairing something - it sounds that way) wont neccesarily fix whatevers wrong, and you may just blow the new parts.
Of course, dont let that put you off starting electronics 🙂
