i have 2 people trying to sell me a projector and i need help on which one i can fix i can get this NEC MULTISYNC LT100 but it has a black line going from the middle to the bottom or i can get this Infocus LitePro 730 Multimedia Projector but its out of focus or sync the picture is fuzzy wich one would be worth fixing and or can it be fixed please reply asap as im trying to get it. thanks in advance to who ever replys with good knowledge 🙂
The actual problem isn't very well described by your post.
If the black line looks like it might be from a cracked mirror or lens, you might be able to find a replacement lens fairly easily. If it's a line of bad pixels in the LCD, it would be harder. Without seeing the line, I wouldn't be able to tell which it is.
If the picture on the infocus projector is "fuzzy" or if it's "out of focus" or "jittery" or whatever, those could all be different problems. It might be a mirror or a lens that was knocked out of alignment inside, in which case epoxy or duct tape would fix it nicely. If it's a problem with the LCD it would be harder to fix, but if it's in the optics of the projector it would be easier.
I can't give you any sound advice, because you haven't given us very much (nor very clear) information to go off of. I hope this sortof gives you an idea of possible problems and solutions.

I don't know why a projector would be "blurry" and you couldn't focus it. You might find that someone just spilled coffee in the optics and the optics need to be cleaned. That's the only reason I can think of why something would be blurry.
As far as the black line, I can't really tell. Do pixels display along that black line? If so, are they darker? Or is that just a spot where no pixels are displayed? It might just be a mark on a mirror or a lens, and can simply be cleaned off. If no pixels display along that line, my guess it's the LCD.
Without more information, I can't really tell.
