So it's been more than a year. Did you build the cabs and if so, what did you think of the sound this combo make? Planning my own project with these two drivers
somehow I missed answering this, and I realized it 9 months later...kind of lame. Sorry!
I ended up ditching the 5" and building @planet10 uOnkens with the 3fe22 and a 10" sub. Very simple speaker, sounds pretty good and my son got his hands onto speaker building - and is rocking in his room. Mission accomplished!
