Hi,

I buy a Nap 140 Clone on Ebay
(same model as this H-140 amplifier kit [H-140] hifidiy.net)

I would like to build a regulated sypply like on NAP 250 amp.

For the regulated board, I found these circuit diagrams :
- Neil McBride design (http://www.neilmcbride.co.uk/jknamps.html)
- Avondale design (http://i40.tinypic.com/vo7t68.jpg)

But this design is complex. There are other design, for example :

- A Simple Capacitance Multiplier Power Supply For Class-A Amplifiers
(Capacitance Multiplier Power Supply Filter)
- Hexo II, Hexo III and Fredy 408 PSU (http://amplifredy.spaces.live.com)

Hexo II (concept : Dominique JACOVOPOULOS)
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hexo III (concept : Dominique JACOVOPOULOS)
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Fredy 408(concept : Dominique JACOVOPOULOS)
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The reporche often made with stabilized power supply is to erase the bass. A simpler design such as the Hexo or Fredy PSU seems to give a good compromise.

Which bord will be the best and what modifications nedd to adapte it to the NAP 140 Clone board ?
