Nakamichi CA-5-E

hello.
i recently bought one of these and i am
looking for some info.
is it a nelson pass design or only
the power amp is?
anybody have owners manual,shematic?
anybody knows if it is dc or ac coupled?

I don't know. Historically when I've designed things for other
companies, they take the prototype and do what they want with
it, and they don't come back later and talk to me unless they
have a problem. In the case of Nakamichi, I only saw the
original version of their amplifier, and then only because they
wanted help with a particular issue.

(I fixed it with a small screwdriver)

Yeah . . . someone laughed at me when I said the screwdriver
was one of essential tools for diyaudio. Who was laughing . . . ?

i have one of these pre amps in use coupled to my sony 700es amp,i bought it to use the phono stage in it,its bloody amazing!
