I would begin by going round every pin on the TDA1541 (with CD playing) and check with a scope as well as DVM. Every pin, even if it's ground check it.

As a matter of course (and it almost certainly isn't this) I always check and confirm the RF (eye pattern) is of correct amplitude. Have had player that would read the TOC and spin up and the display updates but no audio due to low RF (low laser emission).

You have to cover all bases when faultfinding... don't assume a single thing is correct until measured and proved OK.

Very difficult is to find out a Philips model with the same MCU for operate/instruction controlling, because the firmware (software programming) by each model is different.
The CD630 e. g. uses according the sm the MC68HC059P/SC409009 resp. SC409010. But I need a philips model with the ZC99685P/MC68HC05C8P/110 for naim Audio NACDI and Rotel RCD-865BX.
Additional to the single component cd player devices there are also any models from hifi systems. Unfortunately for this kind of cd player components it is hard to find schematics.

Fron follow models I have find out the type of the MCU:

I am still looking for a appropriate Philips cd player model for repair the Naim NACDI.
Those philips model must have in use the MCU type ZC99685P/MC68HC05C8P/110

I have now this model, but I find an other type:
XC400008P and according the associated service manual MC68HC05C9P/3961

Maybe the guys there know more exactly, in which philips model is a ZC99685P/MC68HC05C8P/110:
