Hi guys
I own a Nad c372 that i have used for several years, and always worked fine.
Recently it has started with a red ligth and no sound at first startup at the day. Then i turn it off again with the remote, and turn it on again and then it works like it should. (green light)
But im thinking that this problem is something that could be a indication off a bigger, and maybe expensive problem.
Any toughts?
Thank
Regards

Does your NAD C372 have the early white capacitors ?
If so they were a problem --change them , NAD did to black better quality ones.

Normally, aged capacitors cause premature tripping of the protection systems.
As well, any adjusting pots becoming dirty can also be a problem by throwing off critical settings.
Some quick troubleshooting usually finds the culprit.

In the NAD C372 the White capacitors were a problem admitted by NAD who changed them .
In the later 90,s NAD started outsourcing its construction to various builders in the East quality dropped , some were good but others failed for a variety of reasons , quality control being one.
Early NAD amplifiers were reliable I have one an old 3020.
