Why is there no ground wire for the mains-connection of this amp?
Does it make sense to modify the mains cable?
How?
Thank you

Safety earth (ground) wires in audio equipment tend to cause ground loops which pick up mains hum. The safety regulations in many countries allow manufacturers to sell unearthed equipment, provided that the isolation can handle twice the isolation voltage required for earthed equipment. So presumably (and hopefully) your amplifier is very well isolated and doesn't need an earth wire to be safe.
Why do you need the ground in the first place for?? Do you get shocks...if you do..try reversing the plug...if it is reversible...
Some reading on electrical safety, grounding etc.

It's not that I get shocks or any other problem.
I just figured it would be required for screening, as the casing is metal I thouht one needed a ground connection for that purpose.
Greets!

Usually the ground is not connected..so there are no ground loops...but if you want to try it...go ahead...if there is increased hum or noise...go without it...
