NAD C 316BEE amplifier has stopped working

@avtech
I am sure you are right.
The bop at turn on indicates DC on the output.
But now there is not even a bop.
Now it is all silent.
I think one output transistor blow. This caused the strong bop in the loudspeaker.
Now there is no more sounds.
Except for the relay turning on.

I took away the cord for the supply from the wall outlet.
Now it is possible to open amp and have a look.
But I save this for another day.

What is strange is that both channels seem to be gone.
If it was only one transistor that blow.

Famous NAD quality 😉 A perfect opportunity to build one of your designs in this casing. Or do you wish to repair it?

The relay should not turn on but off just after power on when you measure DC. Grab that non virtual DMM and check what is happening.

What I did.
1. Opened up the amplifier without plugging it in.
2. Touched a few cables. For example the positive and negative supple connection
3. I powered on
4. Amplifier magically started playing again !!!!!!
5. I replaced the cover - but without screwing it in place
Let us see for how long it will play.
I am prepared to see it fail again. I no longer trust it 🙁

Prepared to see it fail again? What about repairing it before semis to south?

Not repairing by touching but actual measuring and diagnosing. Certainly a better approach when you don’t trust it anymore.

Please make some pictures of both sides of the PCB.
