I have an NAD 522 cd player with a dead display. These things have an LCD display backlit by three grain-of-wheat lamps, and it looks like one of them is burned out. Does anyone know anything about these? Any ideas about the right voltage/wattage for a replacement bulb? Thanks!

Old question, but decided to answer anyway.

In my electronic workshoop i see this problem with blown bulbs often so:

Check this movie about howto fix backlight faults in nad cd players and recievers as nad 705

These links don't seem to work anymore and a search of t hat

Do you show how to replace the bulbs with LEDs?
