NAD 510 opamp change

Hi There,

I'm using an old NAD 510 and read that I can change the opamps on the audio board.

The Opamps are NE5532N, can I just solder these out and replace them with, for instance: OPA2134 without any other modifications to the audio board of the 510? Or do I have to alter certain componants?

There are 3 of the NE5532N on the board, I guess I need to replace all of them?

I read about the THS4032. How about that one? Can I also use that one?

THS4032 is a very high performance ( doesn't mean it's the best sonically ) device. You would need to see a circuit to see how it's used.
I... as always... think the OPA2604 takes some beating sonically and should be fine as a direct replacement for the 5532.
Search these forums and there are dozens of opamp threads 🙂
