I bought 2 NAD 2600s for $50 each, working, but they'd been sitting in a garage for years. AS such, they are kind of dirty looking on the inside.
I love the look of clean electronics and metal. What is the best way to clean these? Is it possible to submerge everything in a cleaning solution? This brown stuff is pretty well stuck on.

Qtips (lots of them) and alcohol
OR use an air nozzle and blow away the loose debris then button the rascal back up... so it's internal Patina won't offend 🙂

Other than an air nozzle I'd give up, far too much work involved.
Qtips and alchohol will basically make it look far worse, not better.
Perhaps an air nozzle combined with petrol or meths in a sprayer.

Brake cleaner and a small paint brush works well. Follow up with more brake cleaner and compressed air. Gets things about as clean as possible.
I bought one of these which was stored in a garage for several years. Cleaned up the interior using a paint brush and vacuum cleaner.
I had a pair of 2600A's; when serviced they needed resoldering because of the corrosion the flux created expecially around the transistors. IT might be worth stripping away as much casing as you can to really clean them up...with Q-tips, brush etc. They are nice sounding amps!
