NAD 160a receiver need help

I am about to refurbish a NAD 160a receiver, mostly recapping and cleaning everything.
There is very little info or schematics on this apparatus.

Found just a schematic, but doesn't go with the 160a I have.
On the schematic the board with components numbered 3xx is the MPX board 3018, fitted with an IC.

On my 160a, there is a board labelled "3008-1" but there is no IC, only 5 TOKO coils and 5 transistors. There is also an added daughter board on the bottom with 4 transistors and 4 coils (among other components).

The images are from left to right, the MPX board, the daughter MPX board, the FM IF board and the AM IF board

I think it is an early model, the SN° is 4509.

Did someone have a schematic of this early model, or info on the components used .
Thanks in advance !

Your right , I recognise the components typical late 60,s early 70,s .
Yes hi-fi engine has the chip version but the problem is it says "1975 " but the Radio Museum shows that date as the year of manufacture.

Naughty-naughty on the Radio Museum !--they are wrong year of manufacture of the NAD 160 is 1972 unless of course the RM was only talking about the 160A .

Conclusion ? going by your pictures you have a NAD 160 INTERNALS ergo its an 1972 model regardless of what the label says .

In that case the power supply is "weak " in that it fails and needs a recapping ,while the big resistor overheats and needs changing to a 25 watt one fixed to the case.

There is or was a circuit diagram for it I am looking now.

By the way its better than the 160a because it doesn't have the bass filter.
