Repair?
Can't a repair be done.
If you cut some rubber from a bicycle rubber tube (hose)
and then glue it around the edge of the cone.
I am sure the woofer would be as new!
/halojoy - is very hopeful for old woofers

these DIY kits. - Technovox In Norrtälje

They also sell a Video -
"Foundation of Understanding"
video on Loudspeaker Reconing.
This is the most comprehensive education on Loudspeaker rebuilding
you will likely ever find
It costs $40 - that money will almost buy a new Woofer!
Here is the main points in the video,
which shows how to do it:
---------------------------------------------
Better than to use bicycle rubber tube
is of course if you could find sheets of rubber
in the size of A4 - then you can cut out a piece
in the form of a circle, that will fit the woofer better.
A very important thing here seems to "centre" the cone properly
so that it works properly.

Why don't you just buy new surrounds? They're like $5 a pair on ebay, whatever size and material you want.
buying new surrounds will most likely significantly change some of the driver parameters, generally not a good idea unless you can get exact replacements fitted by a professional that can ensure audible changes are minimal.
Since no one else asked I will: What are the big globs of white goo around the edges of the cone?

Throwing good money after bad.
The question is - was the woofer a very good quality one in the first place? If it wasn't it still won't be any better than new when it is fixed probably. If that is the case, buy a new one. You will be much more satisfied.
Halojoy, is your house the place where old woofers go to die? I can just imagine your back yard 😉
