A while back I found a website that described near-field monitor speakers in a tubular form and hanging above the mixing desk.
This company also produces a stereo nearfireld monitor in a 1 or 2 RU cabinet.
The makers claim very good performance.
Can anybody provide a link to this website ?.
Thanks, Eric.

Hi Eric
Of course can I:
http://www.celticaudio.co.uk/
I'd love to listen to them once! Unfortunately they seem to be too far away from central London, otherwise I'd have had visited them this weekend.
One of Celtic's owners is John Watkinson, writer of the book "The art of digital audio" and "Speaker's Corner" and "Stereo from all angles" in EW+WW.
Regards
Charles

Mystery Solved.
Thanks Charles,
Yes that is the one I was looking for - I did some searching but could not find it.
Eric.

Saaaay --- you don't intend to purchase a Cabar, do you ?
The design is in fact interesting and when you think about it, it is indeed much cleverer than what one might suggest after the first glimpse.
