I have a Myryad T40 integrated Amp and have been using it to listen to vinyl though it's built in Phono stage.
The phono stage uses 1x NE5532N Op Amp, I was just wondering if anybody knows if it is a good idea to try an OPA2107 Op Amp in its place or will it not make much difference?
I was a bit concerned as the supply voltage MAX is 22V for the NE5532 and 36V for the OPA2107.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

I always thought the 5532 sounded dull so I started using LF353 25 years ago
for this I would use the OPA2134 which is lower noise and sounds excellent

Anyway, NE5532 makes a pretty good choice for a typical 1-OP MM RIAA - decent en and in, good input impedance linearity, not particularly bothered by lowish load impedances (esp. for circuits without a "Neumann pole"). OPA2107 is promising in that it uses a cascoded (though not common-mode bootstrapped) FET input, its GBW is only average at 4.5 MHz though, and at only 4.5 mA for both amplifiers I wouldn't trust its output loading immunity that much. And btw - that's +/-18 V vs. +/- 22 V. Best upgrade here - hmm, the LM4562 family maybe (LME49720, LME49860).
I would never think of using an LF353 for that - too noisy, only average output driving abilities (and low Icc suggesting low output stage Iq). OPA2134 ought to work better, though I'd be slightly concerned about input impedance nonlinearity (then again, vinyl is not a low-distortion source to begin with).
If I wanted to use a "retro" opamp in a phono stage, I'd probably go for an LF356 (single only!), preferably with a discrete input stage for lower noise. Loads of output stage oomph for its age (or Iq, at least), including good capacitive load driving. MC33078 (dual) should also do a decent job when equipped with an output buffer (awful loading immunity otherwise). Using a "naked" NE5534 sounds too easy. Not sure about NJM2068 (dual), may appreciate a buffer as well.
