Sinse I cannot buy the transformers (110V-220V issue...), what kind of transformer is best for each channel?
25-0-25 160VA each channel?
Or up to 28-0-28..?
Or a single 0-25V each one..?
Or what else, please?

I'm using two 120VA 2x24V R-Cores from Selectronic and it works quite good. 😉
You mean 2x24V EACH channel??
DOUBLE 24V each one? 😕

Yes, two secondaries:
0-24V
0-24V
Exactly, apart that is is 2x25V, as that one (suggested by Penasa himself for the original MyRef)
The TP version is dual mono so we have the option to use two identical transformers.

The one you show suggested by Penasa is rated 300va, that means it is for 2 (two) channels, meaning that one single 25V is used for each channel...
If someone (Udailey!) could tell me precisely the values of the 160VA transformer suggested in the group buy for each channel, that could be very helpful!

Is not that way. You need 2 trafos of 160va 2x25v each one. One transformer for each channel. So you use 2x25v for each channel board.
Or you could use one big trafo (300va) and wire one 25v to both boards, and the other 25v to both boards too.
RegiRegi22 exactly described the use of two transformers (dual mono) or single.
For further clarification on double secondaries wiring here's an image from Decibel Dungeon web site:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
The image in ClaveFremen's post describe how to wire it with one single trafo for two channel boards. I've been coming building all my gainclones in that way. The above schematic is for 110v mains, the lower one is for 220v
This is the FIRST email I have got about this thread in a long time but it has been really active. I am sorry guys. i would have responded if I had a notifier that a new post had been posted.
Yep 160VA 25x2 is great.

Trying to find a distributor for the 30mm Nichicon Gold Tune caps. 10000uf 50V, 30mm. If anyone knows, let me know. Have spoken with Mouser, Nichicon, Digikey, Michael Percy. They can all get them of course but lead times are said to be maybe 12 weeks with a promise of 19weeks. !!! Maybe we will get all our pricing together and take our time.
We could go Panasonic of course but pricing could be better for Nichicon and I am assuming the quality is better but thats an assumption. I have loved my Panasonic supplies and my Nichicon plane jane cap supplies have also been really nice. I once bought those Nichicons Steve Slater had for 1.99each and built an F5 power supply to power my chip amp. WOW did I get a lesson on how important a good supply was. That amp was great before I shorted it out on the heatsink.

Don't get crazy about that, there are lots of high quality caps out there. Just choose another good one. Wich one could be a substitution? maybe Panasonic FM or FC? Nichicon MUSE KZ?
How about the well-regarded Blackgates? I know they are out of production, buy maybe we could source enought ones.

These are the 10,000uf power caps. I suppose the TSHA are fine. Digikey has them for about 2.68 each. So if there is no other option we will go with that. They are actually really good, but the Nichicon look so nice 🙁 black and gold much nicer than that white on black industrial look.

Uriah,
Hey, don't sweat it. The KG's do look sexy, but how many people will ever see these caps? Nichicon KG's are rated 1k hours @ 85 C and cost a buck more and are not available until JULY. The Panny TSHA looks like a fine cap, rated 3k hours @ 105 C with decent ESR and are on hand. It's a heck of a good deal, and I'm sure they would make a satisfactory supply. Do we know for a fact that the KG's sound better? I don't see ESR specified.
Let's spend the money on more important stuff.
Peace,
Tom E

And how about these one I've found in Mouser?
UKW1H103MRD Nichicon Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors - Leaded
They are rated at 85º 2000h. And look quite sexy, I use them in my DCB1 buffer. Gold and black.
Just a proposition, we should use the best quality available. So maybe the Panasonic are better.

They're not snap-in...
Panasonic TSHA look having good specs, and I would not care much about the color...3 months wait for a gold/black cap instead of a similarly good white/black one does not make much sense to me.
