Mylar that will shrink !?

but 2 % is almost nothing, i got tensiled mylar C i believe from dijkstra, this rather expands then shrink. if i have a wrinkele and heat threat it the whole thing sacks in, and will be worse then before using the heat gun. i think it stated a 2 percent shrink as well

Hi,
It will shrink, but not that much. If you have stretched this mylar very tight mechanically, additional heat will lower the tension (and divide it in some extend).
By the way I am still working on a strongly curved esl. In the past I made one consisting of several flat elements but I found it to work only moderate (audible dips, non-uniform dispersion)

Yes i notitie this As well especislly dips, but it hard to tell yet because it a omni. Maybe I'll try on without the back facing stators
