Iam deep down in fixing 2 Harman kardon 900+ recievers. Have some questions about componnents. I found a faulty transistor that I replaced on the tone control board. q607 a japanese transistor 2sa763 wl. took a 2sa1015 wich I hope works. While fixing it I found some MYLAR (polyester) capacitors with values written on them.I dont understand what it means!for example 124K50. on the schematics it only says 012.
On another mylar it says 104T50 on the schematics it says 0.1
Please help me to understand how to read values!

50 V caps are pretty usual in low power transistorize amps, that explains the numbers after the letters. 12 * 10E4 is 120000 picofarads or .12 microfarads. 10 * 10E4 is 100000 picofarads or 0.1 microfarad. See if you can find a tolerance somewhere, I would bet the .12 is at minimum +- 10%. Microfarads were abbreviated mf before 1980 and uf now, the changeover was ragged and depends on continent, language, and culture.
I think your manual is missing a decimal point on the 12. Unless the physical cap is about 8 cm long and about 3 cm diameter, it is not a 12 mf cap. That is a pretty expensive cap to find in a harmon kardon, anyway, not very likely.
