My Tang Band WT-1427B Project

Has anyone else made a subwoofer using the Tang Band WT-1427B 10" Neo Subwoofer? This speaker most likely was designed for car Audio but I'm making a subwoofer for my stereo system at home. I'm using it in a 1 c^3 sealed box with a 100w amp. . Made the box and the Tang Band is in transit. If anyone else has worked with the TB do have any tips?

In a small room, the room gain could offset the closed box drop in the low frequencies. My half serious tip would be, shut all doors and windows when you listen for the deep bass 🙂

No, but I have looked at it for a midbass in a car. It has a nice flat response if the factory did not smooth the chart too much. One would need a large door opening to fit it of course.

Seems like it would work fine for a HT sub though, with the proper enclosure.
