Ok, well I've seen a lot of really great subs on these forums. This may not be one of them, but I think it sounds pretty good. It's basically a 24 inch cube 6.8 cubic feet, 3/4 mdf except for top and bottom. I used 1 1/8 inch dowels for bracing, the front baffle is 1.5 inches. The speaker I'm using is a PRV 15W700 powered by an Artison RCC300 sub amp. For damping I used 7 lbs of polyfill. My system is a Denon AVR 710W with Pioneer BS22 series for front center and the other sub. Still have LG HTIB for rears. Due to my poor woodworking I covered the sides with beadboard and the top with pine. I also covered the corners with aluminum angle painted oiled bronze. I stained the whole thing with 3 coats of Minwax Espresso and spray satin poly. I haven't done any room measurements or anything like that, but I have been very pleased when watching shows and movies! Some of these pics are from my phone so they may be low quality.

They look fine to me.

I put a block around each dowel to give them more surface area to glue to. The vertical dowels are fully enclosed the horz dowels are 50 percent. You can just see the blocks in the pictures.
Are the dowels butted up against each other but not fastened? I'd pop the driver out and affix the dowels to each other if not, it will make the bracing substantially stronger and less likely to rattle.
Its not in the pictures but I did zip tie them together before final assembly. I haven't heard any rattling.
If you have script blockers running (which is generally good), you might be preventing the script that auto-resizes images from running.Your images are too WAY large to fit the page 😡
Direct subwoofer output from my Denon AVR 710W. The sub itself has no crossover or filter. The output from the receiver goes to my sub amp.
