My Sub Build

Ok, well I've seen a lot of really great subs on these forums. This may not be one of them, but I think it sounds pretty good. It's basically a 24 inch cube 6.8 cubic feet, 3/4 mdf except for top and bottom. I used 1 1/8 inch dowels for bracing, the front baffle is 1.5 inches. The speaker I'm using is a PRV 15W700 powered by an Artison RCC300 sub amp. For damping I used 7 lbs of polyfill. My system is a Denon AVR 710W with Pioneer BS22 series for front center and the other sub. Still have LG HTIB for rears. Due to my poor woodworking I covered the sides with beadboard and the top with pine. I also covered the corners with aluminum angle painted oiled bronze. I stained the whole thing with 3 coats of Minwax Espresso and spray satin poly. I haven't done any room measurements or anything like that, but I have been very pleased when watching shows and movies! Some of these pics are from my phone so they may be low quality.

My amp is an Artison RCC300 I got on EBay for a steal. It was intermittent. I found the power microswitch was jacked so I replaced it. Last night I recalibrated by he whole system. Very satisfactory LFE on MadMax Fury Road. Dolby Atmos works great.
