They sound very good to me. Better than the Eton 8.1 Kit I built for a friend.(of course he thinks his speakers sound better)🙂 They have a smooth natural sound and arent bright anywhere. I need to get some wall treatments to sharpen up the imageing a bit.
The stands are made from solid oak and have a natural stain on them.
I do have one problem however. The speakers make a popping noise, similar to that of a scratch on a record, when a snare drum is hit. It occured as soon as I hooked up the sub amp. I have RCA's going from my dvd player into the "in" on the amp, then I have it crossed over around 80 Hz, then I have RCA's going from the "out" to the CD/DVD input on my reciever. It goes away if i dont use the amps crossover for the Vifas, but I like the crossover being there. Is it a bad amp or what can I do?
