It is because of a glitch in the forum software and the way the - is interpreted. I think the only fix is for you to choose a user name that doesn't have such characters in it. Its not unique to you, this issue has cropped up a lot recently.

I think an underscore is allowable such as JR_W

when I log in mine comes up as trespasser_guy instead of amp-guy

It's a problem with the - if changed to a _ it should probably fix the problem. Would you like your account name changed to amp_guy ?

When members try to access my profile, they get directed to a MadMan4Q instead of me. I think this is a similar issue as there is a dash in my name, can we use an underscore instead?
