Finished these a week ago. Very cheap components bought from partsexpress (but expensive shipping and tax tough). About 70liters internal volume and a separate room for midrange. Crossover calculated by internett calculator at 300 and 3000Hz and added L-pad to lower tweeter(piezo..). They are powered by a sure electronics 2x100W amplifier with a 24V power supply integrated in th back off the speaker. Not the most powerful amplifier and the SPL is not that great either. But all in all I am happy with the result both soundwice and lookwice, since this is my first PA build. They are ment for smaller parties and can be powered by a 24V battery aswell so they are "portable"(weighing 22kg each).

nice work.
any thoughts on trying a bass reflex tuning?
hope sandwiching the amp doesn't build up to much heat. i can't tell clearly from the pic's but is there a fan in there?and is it vented to the outside?
and as a party pa make sturdy grills with a good reinforced mesh and a not so easy to remove method of attaching it because drunk people like to poke at exposed speakers for some reason...

Thank you, glad you like it
Bought the drivers at partsexpress where they wrote that the 10inch would need an internal volume of 6,8cuft if ported, so off course that would be optimal but a way to big box. About the amp, since this is a class D type amp it doesn't get that hot. And yes it's a fan there too. Also I have touched the backplate after playing loud at some time, and only heat from the power supply.
Haha, have thought about grills and might do something with that later

Haha, thank you for your honest comment. Supposed to be a cheap system and that's what it became..
do you have an amp in each box? cuz if you did you could biamp each box or run the amps bridged for more watts.
