hello all DIY projector gurus 
i have purchased an old OHP for Rs. 1000 i.e. approx $25
it has a lamp which i think is not halogen
the specs says
HMI 10000
H.M.I. 575watts /SW Lamp
can i use it? or is it too bright to be used
also there is some kinda glass on the bulb it looks like IR or UV resistant to me you can check out the pics at
