My new build

Here's sum pics of the new build hope to have it runnin for new years, its my first go at cabinet makin too. kinda making it up as i go. so for its gone better than I thought. 😀 bit more finishing then the tolex to hide the sins lol.

got my front panel back from the printers this mornin. now I can drill all me holes.

its sum kind of vinyl i think, stuck onto the back of sum 1.5mm clear plastic, got it put on the back so it cant get scratch off.

gettin there

that tolex is harder to get right than i thought but looks ok this was just a trail fit of the speaker baffle board and chassis to see if they fit need to take a bit more off the baffle just a bit tight to go in right. all else seems a ok.

Yes, Tolex application is a problem all by itself.

Ah well the saga continues one dead 6sl7 out of the box glass is cracked rite off and it seems my second hand power tranny is more second hand than i thought its got a short between turns.
not enough to blow the fuse just enough to sit there and catch fire :-( got another one in the shed but it might take a while to find it, I know its in there but its under every thing else lol.
