It's a new class A. A class A with caveat. Just kidding. I'm familiar with the IC.
It's hot, but not as hot as normal class A. Very high efficiency for a class A.
I forget about this "new class A" definition. The chip doesn't sound good. I prefer
the Sanyo STK, even the standard STK41x2II series. (I think it is comparable in "power" with STK4172II)
