My new 150W R2R design!

obscured issues

at a glance
small signal BJT footprints seems to be wrong
my standard twin slope SOAR
but there is no current sensor
supply multiple parallel C
different ripple currents through different C
like thermal cutout and extra thermistor Tcomp if necessary
thermal cutout -there is no thermal contact of any component with heatsink (without taking thermistor, which is optional, as I got)
reverse biasing to remove charge and speed switching
could find any bootstrapping

Too much rushing? 😉

You won't like it Mikeks - I left out even my standard twin slope SOAR.

You don't need a bootstrap to achieve (near) rail to rail.

Hi Dimitri,

Thanks for resurfacing this thread. You're right in that all is not obvious as I don't want it coming out of Taiwan before I get it up and the IP covered. But at the same time I would like it outed. I just need it to be an earner . It's a hugely simple but elegant design that has some constraints but offers a revelation in simplicity/performance.

I've extended the design to a 300W /8 ohm as you're aware from the mrss thread. It's even better with the cascode.

I'm investigating a kit partner but this is a serious Hi End deal.

Cheers,
Greg
