This is a lean time of year for me but when the good times roll again I'm going to be donating here (perhaps at NPR's expense) and I think once I do that I'll feel okay about imposing a name change request on the mods.
In the mean I need a new name. The current one is ridiculous, lots of people have cool names like Variac, Tinnitus and so forth. Mine is... well it is what it is.
Ridiculous suggestions welcome.

New offer - any donor can nominate a name that has been inactive (not logged in) for greater than half a decade (5 years) AND has no posts and I'll recycle it to you (delete the old user and change your name to the old users name).
You can use this form diyAudio - Members List - Search to search for a member who has "post count less than 1" and "join date before 2005-01-01". There is plenty of them. You will still need to view "last activity" by viewing a members profile, in order to verify that the last activity (last time the person ever logged on) was greater than 5 years ago.
To action this, just send me a PM.
