You shouldn´t mind the model probably isn´t 100% . Only compare the two in "Beamwidth" an on-axis . Quite a difference in "Beamwidth" don´t you think?
Here is the beamwidth for the 320hz horn and the 1000hz horn, then a combined one.

The area at the front of driver should be something like 5cm2. But you have to go for the area just after the phase plug. When you build the horn you should off course go from the 5cm2 lengthwise.

(Sorry to take the thread so late, I just come back from 1 week geological trip).
As it has been often said by David McBean himself, the directivity behaviour provided by Hornresp is just a rough evaluation.
The reason is because the hypothesis of a flat piston source is considered. As David used to say a BEM simulation will give more consistent results.
When we use a TD2001 on an axisymetrical and when we compare the prediction from Hornresp with real measurements we can see that the frequency response on axis extends flat at very high frequencies (wharever the cut-off of the horn). Then when we study directivity we can see that the real mesurements shows less beaming at high frequency than predicted (this lead me to think that the wavefront at the output of the TD2001 comrpession driver is more like a spherical cap ( = a dome)..

I am open to wether a ET 703 tweeter is used as well as the TD2001, I am unsure as more is better but am heading in the direction of a TD2001 in a 350 or 400hz horn, then a et703 above.

I'm still wondering what you're going to do for bass, since this looks like it's heading towards a five-way to my mind . You've got yourself better integration from lower-mids to treble by using the 950pb, but what's going to happen when you cross to a big fluffy bass driver that can handle 45 to 300Hz ?

Not sure yet MJ. I am still looking around for ideas, got any? The idea of a 3 to 4 metre horn with a fold in it to make it 2 metres tall seems to have some merit, just need to learn how to sim it and post some images.

This is a good idea IMHO. You should be using the 350 and 400Hz horn above 1500Hz and the ET703 above 8kHz.
But if you are listening at a sweet spot you should also try the 180Hz alone in a fist step, that's means the 180Hz free to reproduce the HF, with eventually a bit of HF equalization as in:

I am still looking around for ideas, got any? The idea of a 3 to 4 metre horn with a fold in it to make it 2 metres
No need to make it 3-4m. With the right driver, 15", low compression a 35Hz does not need to be more than 2,5-3mm. My concrete horn built standing against the rear wall is below 2,80m. Just a small folding at the bottom. Footprint is only 100*60cm.

You should also have a look at Martin Seddon's L-horns .
He started with bigger eg. Vitavox drivers but he's more impressed with the Lowther PM2A these days which takes him from about 50 to 800Hz in that horn !
