Hi there. I am Milko. My first repair was done at the age of 10 when a neighbour brought in a broken TV. My dad was supposed to fix it but half way he left the project alone on the table. I did see him fix many things and recognized a blown cap.. quickly i started digging upstairs and found a similar cap to replace. Halfway in the de-solder process my dad arrived home again and was completely perplexed of what I was doing.. he just let me continue while keeping an eye on my progress... Once the new one was in place we tested and voila. It was working again.. further up in my life i started building tube amplifiers. At the age of 16 i finished my el84 tube amp and quickly started my ecc88 pre-amp. Later i bought some tannoy's to complete my setup.. in the last 10 years I started repairing and modifying cd playes using lampucera and lampizator designs. Sounds amazing and i can recommend it..
Now I became a member here to pm someone about a pair of 2sk216 2sj79's to repair an old denon pma-1560.
I love these amps and hope ill get him to work again.. I hope some day ill be able to share more of my knowledge. Enjoy the projects and never give up!
