Black Velvet
My guilty pleasure is Alannah Myles singing "Black Velvet"
A great bassline and her sultry voice makes for easy listening.

Guilty pleasures?
InDeeps 'Last Night A DJ Saved My Life' and Lipps Incs 'Funkytown'.
If asked I will deny everything!;-)
I used to fancy Belinda when I was in my early teens and she was still in The GoGos.
Love drinking Black Velvet (not the canadian Whiskey but the cocktail made with Guinness and champagne).

I have many. I am a weirdo.
The theme to Disney's main street electric parade, and many other "moog" songs...
Vanilla ice's "ice ice, baby". I have gotten people do dance in the crosswalk when bumping this really loud in my old car setup, when cruising on Fri nights
Anything by "Esquivel".
YouTube - Esquivel - Mini Skirt
"Norteno" northern mexican ranchero style music
I am as white as they get (total gringo, guero), but I speak a bit of spanish.
YouTube - El Camaleon-Los Diferentes de La Sierra
I don't like American country, oddly...
I have a box set of sound effects cd's. I have no clue why I enjoy it

Thanks for reminding me, Peckerwood! hahahah
I inherited some Herb Alpert LP's from my Gramma
And some similar named and sounding stuff, too. I can play a little "Never on Sunday" on piano
Or as my Mexican friend's call it "Nunca en Domingo" hahahahah
I have to admit that I also like some of the Lawrence Welk offshoot albums she has.
Oh, and Al Hurt's "Java" makes me shake a tail feather.

I thought this was the standard acid test to see if your tweeter can handle a low crossover point........

Never On A Sunday. That is on Lonely Bull. I also like the song Desfianado a lot off of that one. It was originally done by Stan Getz on the saxophone. Which other Tijuana Brass records did you get?
That's not exactly a guilty pleasure. That's just good tastePorcupine Tree. If you like rock, especially progressive rock and haven't heard these guys, you need to.
Another must-check is Opeth, but only if you're into metal. If you're not, you'll probably think it's crap like all the other metal. If you're a metal fan, you'll probably agree that it's probably the best out there. Not to mention their live performances are close to perfection. Really impressive.
As for my own guilty pleasure...ah, let's see...probably Guns 'n' Roses. Probably has something to do with listening too much to their music at an impressionable age. Especially some of their earlier stuff is still nice rock and roll, though.
Trance music. All of it. My wife hates it, I dunno it is by far my favorite thing.
Everything from the early stuff when it was splitting away from the genres of space music, detroit techno and acid jazz up until today. Stuff like
Datura - Yerba Del Diablo (Shagras Mix)
Resistance D - Cosmic Love
Jam And Spoon - Right in the night and Stella.
More modern stuff like:
Chicane - Saltware
Hybrid - Finished Symphony
and my recent fav:
Gareth Emery - Sanctuary
