S.C.....thank you for sharing your pics but your wiring is rather poor...if you clean that up your project might look like you tried

I know. It is a miss inside because my first case can't fit both transfromer and the amp. So I just find another box for the amp. I am going to rebuild it in winter. I need to make a better board, a channel for a sub, a new case, and a new plan. I may try no board this time too...... I hope I can make a clean looking amp next time.
P.S: Case....... budget problem....... Also where can I order some non melting wire (the plaste won't melt easily while soldiering)?

I understand- this is in the initial breadboard stage.
I think Joe D is saying that it will in fact look pretty cool if the
wiring is better. If the insulation is melting a lot after you stripped it back about 1/2" from the joint, then maybe you are heating things too much- most likely heating it for too long to be more correct. Teflon coated wire is more resistant to heat but harder to strip. search for Apex Jr to find the wire cheap.
It's best to keep the supply in another box as you have it.

It's silver plated copper. Yes the silver tarnishes, but silver oxide conducts unlike copper oxide. Some think that the silver protects the copper below, some think it's a tool of the devil.

everything one has to respect is being 'by passed' I like that, some plastic case, glue left and right and whatever the looks, I bet it sounds a lot better than well finished store products

I was thinking that a wall mounted GC would look and probably sound great, with all the components just hooked/screwed/stuck straight to the wall and left open, in the manner of a fresco
One question. Will my GC be powerful enough to drive a sub.... or should I build another amp....?
would depend on wad kinda sub u're planning to dirve...I would think maybe a GC is not powerful enoguh for it...
