A suggestion for additional cooling would be to find a nice heavy piece of stone and place the amplifier thermally coupled on top of it.

Hi Jacco,

I am still thinking about the stone-mod, I don't know if try some experiment the next project... on this one honestly I don't want to increase the weight of the Aleph (16.5 Kg yet) because at the moment is on a thin glass console.

The marble is very heavy.... tested this weekend transporting the new stands! (look the picture with my Aleph)

Anyway, Thanks for the idea

Regards

Peppe

Hi Peppe,
I found a solution to use a switch on the huge front panel.
I tried with mine and it works.

Hi Andrea,

it is a pedal-guitar switch, it seem very robust.

Do you have a picture of mounted one? How it looks? Is your panel black like mine?

Where I actually put the amp (on top of the rack) the rear switch is not a problem but in the future..... If you got a surplus do you sell (or change) a couple? If it is possible, please email me.

Thanks

Peppe

Hi Peppe,
here is a photo of the front panel with the switch inserted.

I can't go on with my amp because I'm waiting for some 220uF Panasonoc caps that are blocked at the customs 😡

I do have a couple of spare switches, but be aware that shipping and customs made them cost 3,5€ each.

Of course I accept trades, just tell me what you have to trade.

Regards

Andrea
