My first PA
Toshiba LapTop
Crown XTi 2000
Allen & Heath Zed 14
2 – Peavey PR 12s for Tops
2 – Custom Designed Subs
The Tops XO @ 100Hz / LP @ 16kHz and the Subs HP @ 30 Hz / XO @
100Hz w/ 5dB Boost. I built a mini-rack to contain the Amp, Mixer & output
connectors. The Crown has built-in DSP and the Allen & Heath accepts input
from USB, making a very portable PA.

Hi Firechief ... I will be furnishing sound for Relay for Life (Cancer), Heart Association and MS walk ... etc. These aren't rowdy folks, so I don't need to blow them out. I'm looking for 80 - 85 dB at 300 feet.
The PR12's are good for highs & mids but crap below 70 Hz. The Tapped Horn Subwoofers I've built are good from 35 Hz to 120 Hz.

do you have build pictures for the subs ? if your average decibels at 1 meter is 125 then you should be good for 83 decibels at 128 meters. nice setup by the way.
