In my own build I am using a Fane Sovereign 12-500LF.
The two bins I bought in have Fane Crescendo's 15 inch.
That's as much as I know.

12" - interesting. Bass guitar or PA use? And do yoi have ability to measure response once built?

I powered it up tonight for first time.
It sounds OK.
It works OK up to mids.
I don't currently have the equipment to do a full response test.
I was thinking of using it for a mobile disco if I decide to get back into that.
Still needs tidying up a bit. Carpet needs trimming and carry handles need fitting.
This is how far I have got.
Still needs tidying up and hoovering the saw dust off it.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
pretty little W-horn
Considering making another one but slightly larger for a Fane 15-600 driver.
Here we go again, second version for a 15 inch speaker this time.
I learned a lot from first build so this time should be spot on.

Got a little further.

My cousin has two W-bins vented @ 35 Hz currently doing bass duties in his club. FWIW, I found that they sound considerably better in the upper bass region with the addition of cross-bracing between the center chamber and the sides of the horn.
Yes, Cerwin-Vega always brace across the middle.
If the panels are wide they can vibrate.
My first W bin was 16 inches wide and the second 18 inches wide.
Not sure if those widths need bracing or not.
The Fane W bins I bought aren't braced.

An impedance curve measurement can quickly indicate whether or not the bracing will help. If the curve shows an almost non-existent or badly-formed upper impedance peak, or any noticeable and unexpected ripples in the passband, then bracing should improve the response.
Got a little further tonight.
Driver arrived in post, a Fane Sovereign 15-400LF.

A side on shot showing the handles. Sadly they have to go half way down the side which is a bit low to be comfortable to lift.

Found an old Fane 50WRMS 12 inch driver needing a box so started on another folded horn for it.
