Thanks.I guess sound is most important looks second.I always seemed to need another tool I just didn't have.I wasn't familiar with horns but after this I don't know if I'll go back to a regular ported box.
ah,hemm...
That's a pretty clever way to store the paint polish
gives a whole new meaning to "band"wagon--they look well suited for p.a. use.

One of my cousins back home in India is a hardware dealer/distributor.
He once told me that he had a regular purchaser who actually used to drink that stuff(polish)
... And that guy was indeed a Carpenter by profession.😉
Dunno if he's still alive...
BTW congrats on your project, sound is all that matters

Thanks for the compliment.
Anyone who drinks furniture polish must know something that I don't. Maybe it was a home brewed version of lemoncello. Ha. He just told everyone it was lemon polish.
John
btw, at least Shawn's horn is painted. I'm going to have to detail mine out, someday.

You think yours is ugly, take a look at mine. At least yours is painted and you can see a bunch of pencil lines and screws. Honestly, I think your sub looks pretty good... Definately better than mine.
But like you said, "not pretty but sounds amazing" goes for my ugly sub as well. 😉
BTW, what is your sub tuned to?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Don't paint that sub!
I like looking at straight pencil lines and those beautifully spaced, equal-distant screw-heads. The assembly itself is a work of art.

I like the horn better than the whiskey
What can I say? You get your choice of punch in today's world: punch drunk, punch drunk love, or punchy sound. Punchy sound gets my ya-ya going--as long as there's some sweetness--like getting getting slapped on your butt with one hand and then stroked on the cheek with the other. A man would have to be a masochist to love a horn. Now where's my whip?
😉
honey, have you seen the baby?
