Hi Fosforo
The amp looks good !
The SMPS looks like a Skynet. Where did it come from ?
And where did you get the case ?

Very nice amp man!
Obviously there are a few things that could have been done nicer, but that's also what I say of every amp I've built myself....
I don't imply things that will make the soundquality better, only make it look more tidy...(but luckaly you don't have to look at the insides allday 😛). Very good looking volume and selector knobs, but is the volume knob drilled lower or is it the photo?
You have the same type of cd player as my mother has (no kidding..) She also has a van Medevoort MA tube amplifier. I have an audiodigit MC4x100 amplifier ordered in Italy from Autocostruire...but nowadays I would have bought an AMP9 from http://www.41hz.com
I just ordered 4 AMP32 kits from them, they're very cute, I'm going to build them in aluminum boxes (see pic). I folded them today after work...

Indiana Linea are good speakears, specially for their value for money.
This one is model 4.03, i think that they have been substituted by a newer one.

Yes, you're right the volume knob is drilled lower than the selector, i've made a mistake drilling the holes ...

Btw, the CD player is a CD 63 MkII Ki Signature with a LiTe Dac-Ah as D/A converter.
This is my "office" setup, but i'm very pleased of it.😀
Apart the volume knob, what do you think that could have been done better?

NICE BOXES, very nice. Always loved that classic industrial pattern.

I actually like the messy look on the front panel 🙂 Given the otherwise classy and polished look, the slightly jumbled knobs let you know that it's all homebuilt goodness. Charming, somehow.
I totally agree on you, the home made look I find appealing too!
I thought what would look tidyer is placing the amp so that the signal wires and speaker leads don't cross, and the wires to the input section look a bit messy (but soundwise this is often benificial)...

The input section was messy in the photo, i've changed it before closing the case.🙂
Regarding signal wireas and speakers leads, i've cheked with a scope before doing this setup but i didn't found any interference or any signal degrade... Is it just a case?

Oh forget it, it's just a personal easthetic thingy...😉
Like I said it won't bring audible nor measurable changes...😎

Ok, i'll forget 😀
Oh, erh.....and this...
No, but I didn't think of making a photo from the first one I put in a case because a friend allready has it....
But the next one I will post..
I will also make photos of the bicycle sound systems I'm gonna make with them, I'll post them on an AMP32 thread...
