pleas comment on my schematic...

any problems????

should I increase the 150v?? maybe to 200v?

I want to use a regulated power supply (VR tubes) so thats why 150 was picked.

recommendations for power supply???

dunno about SS, hybrid or tube rectified..

Hi,

pleas comment on my schematic...

Hmmmm....why so complicated?

Am I correct in assuming you're trying to make some sort of mu-follower combining a choke and FET?

Why not just use a choke as a plate load, take the signal off the plate and use a VR tube to clamp the B+?

You can use the loadlines from the 12B4A if you like, a trioded EL84 is very similar...Maybe wire it for ETM as well?
Zout would be in the 1K zone if that's what you want.

Cheers,😉

ETM?

What is ETM? and what is its advantages??

Do you think a choke loaded triode EL84 would "sound" better than a triode EL84 with a MOSFET source follower in a mu configuration??

Do I get any advantages of the mu over just a choke load??

Any PSU recommendations???
