My Dream Aleph 2 Coming True

Which Aleph you choose it up to you.

They are all subtedly different but all BRILLIANT IMO.

TBPO you dont need a massive output. With efficient speakers the 25W of most of the Pass amps is sufficient.

If you are happy to match the MOS-FETs yourself, and its easy, then it doesn't cost a fortune to build one of these.
My speakers are not too efficient and the 100W of the Aleph 4 suits them.

the bits and pieces comment was alephX 🙂

Mine are in pieces. 🙂

To thisisvv: It looks like your tube amp is in the 40wpc region. If that
level of power is sufficient for you then you might also consider one of
the smaller alephs. (The a2 is 100wpc into 8 ohms.)

I was a complete noob when I built an aleph30 around 9 years ago.
With lots of reading on diyaudio, I matched the parts,
eched my own pcbs, and hacked together a case. For me,
the case work was the most difficult. Amazingly, it all
worked and I continue to enjoy the amp.

Cheers,
Dennis
