owdi! i would not believe 3 years that u built this box. it's very beautiful. i like the color of this. i want to know how to cover the caramel..lol 😀 on the box. sometime i'll do like this.
owdi - a little insight into the shape and color would be really nice. you've done a beautiful job on it.
Sorry all for taking so long to respond.
The curved corners were done with 3" MDF corner rounds bought from rockler.com. I think their original purpose was to be used as table legs.
The black portion of the enclosure was finished with two coats of sanding sealer, three coats of primer, three coats of black paint and two coats of satin poly. Everything was applied with brushes, with sanding in between coats.
The ends were easier. They're just baltic birch ply stained with walnut, with two coats of satin poly.
