The subwoofer is downfiring so that makes it even more sad.

Leave open pot of hot chili paper powder near place where her majesty shouldn't exercise her paws. Cant think of anything better.
My car engine compartment is sprayed with chilly solution, Im not sure but I think it was not cat killing my car, still it works.

1) You could surround your bedroom subwoofer with spiked cat repellent mat. Just be sure you can't stand on it yourself!
2) If the damage to the the foam surround is minimal you could try patching up the rips with thin tissue paper applied with watered down PVA adhesive.

Most likely your cat wanted more bass, so with tough love destroyed the small sub.

The sealed type subwoofer is definitely not sealed any more. I can feel the air coming out from the holes she opened. What type of paper should I buy?

Usually just a re foam kit, generic sizes. They typically have measurements guides.
Match outer ring size, inner ring can be bigger or same size. bigger is more glue area to the cone.

I had bad experience in the past with refoaming. I took a subwoofer to a specialist here that had decades of experience in loudspeakers repairs including refoaming of course. The foam he found and he applied to the subwoofer speakers was different from the original one and the sound was very different after the refoam. The subwoofer was part of 5.1 Altec Lansing PC speakers, so it didn't matter so much.
Could I try to fix the damage and if that fails then look for refoaming?

Nothing special required. Use single layers of tissue separated from toilet paper or the stuff you blow your nose on for example.
P.S. I second WhiteDragon's suggestion of fitting a suitably sized round metal or plastic loudspeaker grill.
P.P.S. Aleene's tacky PVA glue is suitable if watered down.

Look into bandpass designs like the devastators, skrams, etc. protects your expensive woofers. If you need to save space a 4th order could also do.
Give the cat a good and sturdy scratching post near the subwoofer and reward the kitty for using it.

When SWMBO got a kitten I watched it approach my sub driver and when it looked like it was going to scratch the surround I hit the remote volume button to "KILL" and it hasn't even looked at them since. But truly really I should have screens on them
in my local online store, there so many options for subwoofer grill, metal or plastic but i never used it because no cats at home due to my wife allergic to cats fur 🙂 i was growing in my parents home with cats, they even come to my bed at night to sleep with me but indeed all sofa was never safe from being scratched
Too funny, just installed some metal grills on the passive radiator on a pair of Klipsch Chorus II for this very reason. And it is actually because the cat is attracted to the sound when playing!
The cat is just trying to get your attention, apparently succeeded, thus learned that scratching the sub is the best option to get attention, and is a useful experience for the future.
Was usually my boy cats that pested for attention, they actually want it, Girl cats usually pest because they want food, water.
My " princess" female liked very fresh water, and very clean litter box. She would clean her claws on something to instantly get my attention.
I would check her water bowl rather full or not dump and add fresh water or clean the box, and she just wandered off and stopped the claw thing.
Before getting fixed, she did like attention when in heat, Scratched her claws, water and box clean. Took me awhile to learn she liked being chased lol.
No human logic with water spray or scratch posts works. They want something and will never use the scratch post to get your attention.
They will use something to get your attention, pretty simple.
Glue needs to flex or it dont work, for foam dont know, maybe latex of some sort, rubber cement and patch that flexes.
For rubber surrounds have used cheapo " Tool Dip" rubber dip for tool handles. Not the 40 to 70 dollar expensive brand name nonsense stuff.
Whatever turd cheapo they have for 13 bucks, same stuff different name
