Take it to a repair workshop yourself. If you're extremely lucky it's only a fuse. More likely it will be the power supply caps, and probably some other stuff along with it.
i've checked on the fuse, its not been damage, but the power supply im not sure, how will i know....
Im sorry for chaning the subject but it wont let me post a new thread. I have a 120 gfx crate that has a problem with the DSP effects. Today i turned my amp on and they worked fine, two hours later when i turned my amp on again they didnt work, i am not very literate in electronics but im not paying to fix this thing so please even vague suggestions are very welcome.
That'll be the cause I reckon.Nigel Goodwin said:Almost always kills the mains transformer!.
Take it to a tech, but based on my experience of the average guitar tech (I get to fix their repairs usually) they won't have a clue with the DSP section. I hope it's under warranty. I won't touch this sort of work myself as it's not worth the grief.mrmojorissin said:Im sorry for chaning the subject but it wont let me post a new thread. before you do that, unplug and re-plug each connector (please, one at a time....). i've seen several crate amps with oxidized contacts on the connectors causing flaky problems like that.
